Master Woodworkers' Tour of Artistry in Wood. Join us for a very special tour of the Artistry in Wood exhibit with three master woodworkers, Scott Clark, Bill Taft, and Larry Stroud. Learn about the craftsmanship that goes into each piece, the many details that are hidden to the layperson, and the many techniques that woodworkers employ to refine the art of their craft. Scott Clark has been a woodworker his entire life but decided to specialize in lathe work after seeing a demonstration more than a decade ago. He owns and is a member of the American Association of Woodturners, and a Guild member of the Sonoma County Woodworkers. Bill Taft is the chairman of the Sonoma County Woodworkers and specializes in the decorative arts of woodworking, mainly marquetry. Larry Stroud has been a longtime contributor to Artistry in Wood and is known for his beautifully constructed furniture. Lecture Sponsor receives 4 tickets, a single gift museum membership, and recognition in the Museum's marketing materials. Lecture sponsorships are fully tax-deductible.
