Cultural Hike
Desi Harp, Mishewal-Wappo member and SEC staff, leads this out-and-back (approximately 1.5 miles to the unnamed creek crossing) hike along Goodspeed Trail's riparian and chaparral habitats, with a focus on ethnobotany and cultural practices.
Meet at the Goodspeed parking area. Tickets are $15 for general audiences, $7.5 for students, youth (12-17 year olds, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian), Sugarloaf members, Sugarloaf volunteers, and free for children 7-12. Not recommended for children under 7 years old. Wear layers, appropiate footwear for rocky trails, sun protection (the trail is highly exposed), bring at least 32oz of water, and if desired, a snack. Parking fees apply.
