Basic First Aid & Scene Management for Bicyclists
Do you know what to do if there's a crash or medical emergency on your group bike ride? Though we might not like to think about it, a little preparation goes a long way.
This class will focus on basic "scene management" -- how to quickly assess what's happened, what needs to be done and what you can do to help. We'll talk about what to carry in your on-bike first aid kit, and things to consider if you're out of cell phone range.
Led by our partners at VeloMed, this class will provide a helpful overview if you're new to these topics or could use a refresher. Pre-registration is required.
